The Campbell Cooks originated from our upbringing.  Our Dad was an avid gardener and canned many items from his harvest.  We grew up eating fresh vegetables and canned items from Mom and Dad’s garden at almost every meal.  Dad had a passion for cooking. We were exposed to watching Julia Child and Justin Wilson on PBS as young children.  Later, it was the Barefoot Contessa and Test Kitchen. Family was the heart of everything and it always included gatherings with delicious homemade dishes.  The same holds true today and we have followed in his footsteps. Dad was fluent in French and enjoyed experiencing their cuisine during his visits.  He loved preparing his favorite dishes for us.  Our grandparents, on both sides, had huge gardens and this is partly where he inherited his green thumb and gardening skills.  He had an appreciation for food and passion for gardening that was passed on to his children and grandchildren.  Mom and Dad's love of different cultures and cuisines has been passed down as well, and is the fundamental core behind The Campbell Cooks.
